After practicing as a surgeon for many years.I had found my niche in retirement. I have been using many of my surgical skills to manipulate a mixture of media, found objects and varying additive elements to apply to the canvas. My work has been shown in several shows in New Jersey, New York, and California. Several clients have voiced appreciation for the originality of my methodology of work. I have taken many art courses over the years at the New School, Parsons and Wm. Paterson Universirty, while in medical practice and during retirement.
Much of my work is abstract; but in its abstraction there is a representational feel to the work as their titles may indicate. I draw a lot of my inspiration from classical music which surrounds me in my studio constantly. My travels have also been a great stimulus and I have used photography in much of my work. In the practice of medicine we are constantly learning new things; so it is in art. The ability to conjure up new artistic modalities has always been a challenge for me and keeps me going. Please visit my site and enjoy some of my work. There is more to come.
